$15.00/set SEARCHING FOR PARTS!? When searching for parts, the part numbers are, of course, very important. It is GOOD TO KNOW that the part numbers in your parts manuals are probably NOT the part numbers that you want to search for!!! If you have a manual showing 6 digit part numbers, and the early machines and their parts manuals mostly show 6 digit numbers, and you want to replace a bearing or seal for example, your local bearing and seal house will not be able to help you if you give them that 6 digit number! For most of the early construction equipment and loaders you will want to add a "70" in front of the 6 digit number to make an 8 digit number. Depending on product line, you may have to add a "73" in front of the 6 digit number. If you give your local bearing and seal house the 8 digit part number they will be able to help you! (or if you are doing a Google search) As with most rules, there are always exceptions but your odds of finding the part that you need greatly increase if you do follow this rule. "Use an 8 digit part number by adding a "70" or "73" to your 6 digit number." You do not know what may have been done to your machine in previous repairs over the decades. Even the manuals are not always accurate so verify with casting numbers and compare them to part numbers that you find. HD7 CRAWLER
