THIS BRAKE BAND FITS ALL JOHN DEERE JD450 AND JD450B CRAWLER DOZERS AND LOADERS USING THE DRY TYPE STEERING CLUTCHES.  THEY REPLACE THE EARLIER BRAKE BANDS PART NUMBERS AT18420-AT18418 AND AT86899-AT86898

 
  THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY RUN-OF-THE-MILL BRAKE BAND. Each brake band is lined with heavy duty woven lining containing brass strands and are designed for repeated used in severe conditions, capable of withstanding high temperature use (400F.degree) with minimal loss of coefficient of friction.  This material will also continue to function when contaminated with oil but should not be used in oil type applications without additional grooving.

Before shipping, each and every band is individually checked and custom fit with a new drum for proper fit and arc.
